Specialist work, built from operating.

Developing and running schools throws up problems that need specialist hands. Some are technical, like a feasibility study that has to survive a bank’s scrutiny or a curriculum built to pass accreditation. Others are quieter: what a school is called, how a campus works for the way a day actually moves, whether a review will tell an owner the truth. We built these capabilities because our own projects needed them, and we bring them to owners, investors and governments directly.

Capabilities the work demanded.

Feasibility and investment cases

The document an investor takes to their board or their bank. It has to hold up under that scrutiny: demand modelled honestly, numbers an operator will actually have to hit, risks named rather than buried. We have built these cases for sovereign wealth funds, governments, institutional investors and family offices, worked alongside the global advisory firms they bring in, and modelled projects from $3 million to $300 million. For one Riyadh developer we modelled a cradle-to-career platform as a single system, ten K-12 schools, a teacher training academy and technical colleges, rather than schools left to compete for the same families.

Curriculum design and accreditation

Most operators licence a curriculum off the shelf. We also write our own. We developed an independent curriculum around the Confucius Six Arts, and wrote the IT curriculum for a GCC school. For a school whose vision called for something that did not yet exist, we built a mindfulness model from the ground up. Where a school runs an established programme, we design the accreditation pathway to clear CIS, IB and the bodies that matter.

Teacher and leadership development

A school is only as strong as the people in it, and finding and developing them is its own discipline. We build the recruitment and training systems that staff a new school, and we develop the leaders and teachers already inside one. This work runs across more than a dozen countries, and it is grounded in the founders’ own careers: a statewide programme training principals in Australia, and an administrator leadership programme built for one of the largest school districts in the United States.

Sports academies

Academies that sit inside a school, not beside it, where the sport and the schooling run as one programme rather than two timetables bolted together. We have designed two in full, an integrated golf academy for Asia and a football academy and boarding school for Europe, built as models we are ready to launch with the right partner.

Brand, naming and marketing

What a school is called shapes enrolment before a classroom is built. We have named and branded schools from nothing, and rebuilt the identity of schools that had lost their footing in their market.

Audits and school reviews

Sometimes an owner needs the unvarnished version. We run 360-degree reviews that look at academics, finances, leadership and operations together. One Gulf review surfaced problems the owner had not seen, and produced an action plan that readied the school for transition to a purpose-built campus.
